Pfc James A. Wambach attended high school for two years.He volunteered for the Army of the United States at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 17 February 1942.
He was initially buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Molenhoek near Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
