S/Sgt Darrell A. Waas attended Glendale High School and was employed at Luke Field Sub Depot.9 Planes hit the marshalling yards. 13 Planes flew with another group and hit their targets. "Pin-Up Girl"(42-94941) was shot down by anti-aircraft fire, killing 4 crewman. 4 more was taken prisoner, though one escaped.
S/Sgt Waas bailed out. The Germans said his parachute didn“t open. He was initially buried in Rotterdam.
