S/Sgt Darrell A. Waas attended Glendale High School and was employed at Luke Field Sub Depot.

9 Planes hit the marshalling yards. 13 Planes flew with another group and hit their targets. "Pin-Up Girl"(42-94941) was shot down by anti-aircraft fire, killing 4 crewman. 4 more was taken prisoner, though one escaped.

S/Sgt Waas bailed out. The Germans said his parachute didn“t open. He was initially buried in Rotterdam.
