2nd Lt William Nunn enlisted in Santa Ana, California 15 February 1943.

His plane was hit by heavy flak and left formation around the Antwerp region (Belgium). William Nunn went down with the B-24H Liberator and crashed 4 km south east of Bergen op Zoom (Holland).
