Pfc Norbert G. Filburn enlisted on 11 March 1944 and after training at Camp Croft, South Carolina and Camp Buttner, North Carolina he was send overseas in January 1945. Also a cousin and two uncles are in service. A month prior his death Norbert G. Filburn was seen on a picture in a newsreel by his parents.
