B-24, A/C no. 104 -X, went down with no 1 and no 2 engine smoking and crashed near Hamm, Germany at 1347 hours. Cause unknown, three chutes observed.
The remains of Maurice Finnegan, Raymond Rhodes, Lincoln Ricker, John L. Clark and Don W. Means were initially buried in the Catholic Church Cemetery at Berge, Germany.
