Pvt Ralph S. Dill enlisted at Fort George G Meade, Maryland on 23 March 1944.At the time of his induction he was employed at No. 8 Riverside Mill.
Pvt Dill had been wounded in action early in January and had returned to his infantry outfit on January 23, 1945. He was with the Third Army and had seen action overseas since October 1944 when he landed in France.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Foy, Belgium.
