Pfc Carl F. Marler enlisted in Sacramento, California on 16 November 1943. He attended high school for two years and worked on a farm before he enlisted. The Marlers were married on 13 February 1941.
Carl F. Marler, was listed missing in action in Germany on 11 November 1944. He died in a Prisoner of War camp in an unknown place in Germany.
