1st Lt Bluford O. Day graduated from Tulane University and attended graduate school at the University of Michigan in 1939-1942. Lt Day was a teaching fellow of English in the Engineering College.Lt Day was commander of L Company since 10 November 1944. He was wounded in Normandy June 22. A sniper bullet passed through his helmet and entered the occipital region of the head during a battle. He recovered and returned to the battlefield.
The pictures were taken in college in 1935, 1937 and 1938.
