S/Sgt Joseph F. Rossetti attended Northeast Catholic High School and worked in a textile factory.

He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 23 March 1943 and joined his unit from the 48th Replacement Battalion on 7 July 1944.

S/Sgt Rossetti was killed by German tank fire when he left the forest while getting medical supplies for his company.
