Pfc. Eugene C. Roman attended West Hazleton High School.He enlisted in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 10 August 1942 and was sent overseas in September 1943. He took part in the invastion of Normandy on 6 June 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Molenhoek, The Netherlands.
