Pfc John T. Julian enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama on 20 May 1943.Pfc Julian was killed by a gunshot in the neck during a patrol in Bois Jacques on 21 December 1944. Apparently the official date of death was incorrectly registrered and referenced the date of his temporary burial.
A version of this event is shown in the Bastogne episode of the HBO series Band of Brothers.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
