Charles Korpics enlisted on 26 October 1943 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and was sent overseas in May 1944.He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal afirst time for wounds, sustained in France on 6 June 1944.
He had three brothers serving overseas at the time of his death: Daniel, William and Louis.
