S/Sgt Samuel Marinaro graduated from Peabody High School and worked for Warner BrothersHe enlisted on 15 February 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was sent overseas in July 1944. He was reported wounded in action three times and had left the hospital only a week before his death.
