T/Sgt Robert B. Haworth enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 20 May 1941.The 46th Armored Infantry Battalion killed 75 enemy personnel before it was forced to withdraw at 1500. However, no ground was lost as elements of the 4th Division took over.
