S/Sgt Arthur Ferrari was employed at the Orange Shoe Company.He joined the National Guard in 1939 and had advanced to the rating of sergeant when his company was federalized in January 1941. He trained at Camp Edwards and Camp Dix before being sent overseas in February 1944.
S/Sgt Ferrari's parents immigrated from Austria.
