Everett V. Langston was a routeman.

He enlisted at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South carolina on 16 September 1942.

The airplane was attacked by fighters during the bomb run, setting it on fire. It left formation and the most of the crew bailed out before it crashed.

Five crew members survived and were taken prisoner, five were killed.
