Pfc Kennedy inducted March, 1942 and served with a tank division. He was reported missing in action in Holland October 29, 1944. In March of 1945 his parents received word that he was a prisoner. Pfc Kennedy was stricken ill on April 18, died April 20 of diphtheria and was buried April 22 at New Kehn, near Rey, Germany.
