Pvt Samuel J. Scialabba was an employee of the Baldwin Locomotive Works before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 26 August 1943.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his face.

He was first burried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, france.
