Pvt Braden G. Boyd Jr. was a driver before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 2 October 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his trunk that damaged his colon and spine.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
