Pfc Henry H. Bunch worked on the family farm before he enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 23 November 1943. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the stomach.
He is remembered at the Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Archers Lodge, Johnston County, North Carolina.
