Cpl Harry E. Epting enlisted at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia on 6 June 1942. He joined his unit from the 92nd Replacement Battalion on 21 December 1944.He was married to Rachel Oldham in January 1943.
He is remembered at the Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia.
