Pvt Arthur J. Earl was a maintenance painter before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in San Francisco, California on 31 July 1942. He attended high school for 1 year and was a painter in contruction and maintenance before he joined the army.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Son, The Netherlands on 24 September 1944. He was disinterred on 11 June 1948 and evacuated to Margraten where he was given his final resting place on 14 December 1948.
