Edward Chorzempa worked in a textile factory. His fiancèe was Anna Przbyla.

He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Providence, Rhode Island on 11 July 1942.

He died of penetration wounds in the left chest at the 24th Evacuation Hospital that was stationed in Leopoldsburg, Belgium at that time. The exact date Sgt Chorzempa was reported wounded in action is not known.
