Sgt Frank E. Weimer graduated from Lane Technical High School in Chicago with the class of 1941.Statement of Capt Kenneth J. Binder:
"A/C 247 was hit by flak over target at 1154 hours after bombs away at 25,800 feet. Left wing was on fire and A/C peeled off to left out of formation and then exploded. No chutes reported seen."
Sgt Frank Weimer was thrown out of the plane without his chute. He was first buried in the Maschen Cemetery on 2 January 1945.
His picture was taken in high school in 1941.
