S/Sgt Thomas E. McKinsey was employed at the McEvoy Company in Houston.He enlisted on 27 December 1941 in Houston, Texas.
This aircraft was operating as the lead of the Group on a mission to bomb the port area of Dunkirk, France, when it was struck by flak and subsequently ditched into the English Channel. There were 7 crew killed and 4 were POWs. There was no MACR issued for this loss.
S/Sgt Thomas E. McKinsey is remembered at Helen Furnace Cemetery in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
