C.M. Cronin: Following statement obtained by S-2 Section, 452nd Bomb Group (H), at interrogation after return of mission: Ship seen spinning. Broke up after flames were seen from left wing. Looked like one chute opened from tail section.Lt Warder told: Casad got a direct hit through the turret that took the top of his head complety off.
