S/Sgt Nick Ianelli graduated from Foreman High school in 1936.

Lt Barwick in A/C 44-6574, was hit by flak just after bombs away knocking out the #3 engine and setting the plane on fire. The crew was able to bail out with trouble just beginning for some of the crew. S/Sgt lannelli was shot while in his chute before hitting the ground. S/Sgt Thompson was shot by the Germans after landing. Lt Barwick died in a German hospital. S/Sgt Barry owes his life to a Luftwaffe Jet Pilot that held off the German citizens on the ground after he landed.
