More information

Lt Hunter was last seen circling the parachute of a Me-109 pilot he had just shot down, probably getting gun-camera proof. The exact cause why he crashed is not known. Most likely, he was shot down by another Me-109.

Lt Hunter was initially buried at the cemetery in Greene, Germany.
