Pfc Kenneth J. Pinney attended LeRoy High School and Batavia Vocational School and worked as a glazier.He enlisted in Rochester, New York on 23 October 1942.
He was already a veteran of the North African and Italian campaigns.
His son Kenneth was born on 27 May 1943. His father never saw him.
