More information

Robert Stultz graduated in 1940 from Butler University and was employed by the Standard Oil Company.

Lt Stultz was married to Mary Clay, who was the local school teacher, on 6 July 1942.

He was overseas on 1 January 1943.

After Lt Stultz landed with his parachute with severe burn wounds, he was helped by a local farmer. Concerned about his condition, he took him to the nearest doctor, where the best care was lavished upon him. Due to the gravity of his wounds, he died without bodily suffering. He was buried the following day at seven o'clock in the morning at the airfield of Sint-Truiden, Belgium.
