Pfc Warren A. Forjan attended Sellperk High School in Sellersville for four years and was a toolmaker.He enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 8 October 1943.
He was taken prisoner of war in the vicinity of Gürzenich, Germany on 16 December 1944. He was held in Stalag III-A in Luckenwalde, Germany. At the time of his death, he was in the hospital of Stalag XI-A in Altenbrabow. He died of heart failure, beri-beri and starvation.
He was initially buried at the cemetery of Altengrabow.
