T/Sgt Thomas H. Morgan, Jr. graduated from Bristol High School. He attended King College and the University of Tennessee.

He enlisted on 5 January 1943. He was sent overseas in March 1944.

FW 190 made one pass at a B-24 struggling in the high right of the second section. #3 Engine was hit and the ship disintegrated before it hit the ground. 3 Chutes were seen, one chute burned up, the other two were apparently ok. Believed to be Lt Perro´s ship, 0955 hours. Position: 5110N - 0505E. The Liberator crashed 3 km North of Arendonck and 7 km East of Turnhout.

All men were found dead right on the plane of crash and buried at the Cemetery of Antwerpen-Deurne on 12 May 1944.
