Pvt James G. Eisenberger joined the National Guard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 7 February 1941.
He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Ridley Park and Ridley Park High School. He formerly lived with his parents in Philadelphia before moving to Ridley Park.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Grand Failly, France.
