2nd Lt Roger L. Tinsley attended collegeand worked in an aircraft factory.

He joined the Regular Army in University, Mississippi on 2 June 1942.

He was seriously wounded in Foy and taken to Bastogne, where he died of his wounds.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.

Lt Tinsley is remembered at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Ohio County, Kentucky.
