Pvt Clarence Roth attended Rossville High School for two years and was a shipping clerk employed by the Aluminium Co. of America.

He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 23 August 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments which hit him in the head.

Pvt Roth is remembered at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, Clinton County, Indiana with a memorial marker.
