Pvt Warren Rogers Jr. graduated from Conneaut High School and attended Ohio State University for three years.

He enlisted at Fort Hayes in Columbus, Ohio on 22 August 1944.

In November 1944 he was hospitalized because of a food poisoning.

Pvt Rogers was killed by artillery shell fragments which hit him in the chest.
