Pvt Jennings B. Huffman worked on the family farm before he enlisted in Huntington, West Virginia on 18 November 1941.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the side of his body.

His brother, Pfc James L. Huffman was killed in April 1945, and they are buried side by side.
