Pfc Mark Stowell graduated from St. Vincent's High School where he was drum major and spent one year at the Western Reserve Academy before he joined the Regular Army in Akron, Ohio on 28 June 1942.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
