Pfc John B. Davies was a 1931 graduate of the University of Illinois where he received a degree in Commerce & Business Administration.He was killed in action at the Bridge of the Savage when the Germans blew up the bridge as his company attempted to seize it.
Pfc John B. Davies was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
