Capt John H. Lobach graduated from Carnegie Tech and was an engineer for the Pennsylvania Waterworks Company before he joined the National Guard in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 17 February 1941.He was taken prisoner and died in Germany in a POW camp.
