Pvt Floyd E. Kilbourn attended high school for two years and was a brakeman with the New York Central Railroad before he enlisted in Sacramento, California on 17 November 1941.He was killed by aerial bomb fragments to his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
