S/Sgt Edward C. Bond graduated from East Technical High School and attended college for two years. He worked for the Truck Engineering Company before he enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 17 July 1943. He was sent overseas in April 1944.
He was killed by small arms fire in his neck.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
