The plane was shot down by fighters.S/Sgt joseph E. Dieken:
Lt Bagg was killed due to an extremely deep cut on left side of skull. Parachute was open but not blossomed. It is my believe the parachute was faulty or he hit his head on something while bailing out or coming down in chute. He was buried at Roth, Germany.
