2nd Lt Lee W. Brennan joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve at Mitchel Field, New York on 30 June 1942. He attended high school for 4 years and worked in an automobile factory before he joined the army.The aircraft was downed by flak at 1145. It blew up over the target and crashed in Oppendorf, near Schönkirchen, Germany. All crew members were killed and initially buried at the Garrison Cemetry in Kiel on 8 January 1944.
