S/Sgt Dean A. Richardson enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 2 January 1943.He attended high school for 4 years and worked on a farm before he enlisted.
S/Sgt Dean A. Richardson is remembered at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren, Huntington County, Indiana.
He was in hospital from September 44 - November 44 due to artillery shell fragments removed from his back and recovered to return to duty. He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Foy, Belgium.
