Pvt Allen B. Mc Rae enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 11 May 1944. Overseas for only one month, he received his preliminary training at Camp Fannin, Texas.He attended high school for 2 years and was employed by Northern Pump Co.
He was the only son of Mrs. Lila Mc Rae and besides his wife he is survived by a son, Michael Bruce, 2 1/2 years old.
