Pvt Eugene F. Kyle attended Edison Junior High School for 1 year and worked on a farm. He enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri on 23 January 1941. He had basic training at Fort Riley, Kansas.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Foy, Belgium.
