Pvt Charles Snider enlisted on 20 January 1944 at Camp Forrest, Tennessee.

He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 21 September 1944 and was seriously wounded in action on 26 November 1944.

On one picture Charles Snider poses with his son D. L. Horton.

His brother David is buried at the American Military Cemetery and Memorial of Henri-Chapelle, Belgium.
