Pfc Clyde Talbert enlisted on 10 February 1942 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

From the reports available it appears that Pfc Clyde Talbert was seriously wounded on 10 July 1944 in France and that he had been transported on 11 July 1944 to an evacuation hospital. It is not certain he died of these wounds or due to another reason.
