Sgt Enos H. Odell gradudated from Binghamton North High School and was employed by Ozalid in Johnson City.He enlisted in Binghamton, New York on 28 January 1943 and was sent overseas in December 1943.
He was married to Mae L. Cook on 11 October 1944.
The airplane was attacked by enemy fighters. The no. 1 and no. 2 engines were alreday smoking after passing a flak area. It was last seen when it was descending under controle.
Five crew members survived and were taken prisoner, five were killed.
Sgt Odell was initially buried at the cemetery of Mönchengladbach.
